Interp. WS: Expansion Techniques in Deaf Education

Workshop participants will learn about 7 common expansion techniques used in American
Sign Language to clarify information being shared, and how these can be applied in
classroom settings with Deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Participants will also learn how
to partner with students to gauge their understanding of the material being presented and
determine the scale of expansion.
