Missouri Interpreters Conference: Call for Presentations

MCDHH is soliciting presentation proposals for the 2021 Missouri Interpreters Conference. In order to best serve the professional development needs of all conference participants, proposals are requested for program offerings at all levels.

Suggested topics include but are not limited to:

  • Diversity/Inclusion
  • Religious Interpreting
  • LGBTQ+
  • Slang
  • Music
  • Ethics
  • DeafBlind
  • Deaf Culture
  • Educational
  • Hard of Hearing
  • BEI Testing
  • Medical
  • Legal
  • Vocabulary
  • COVID-19
  • Idioms
  • Storytelling
  • Classifiers

One compensation package will be available per presentation. The lead presenter shall negotiate how compensation will be divided amongst co-presenters. In addition to conference registration, the compensation package will include one night at the conference hotel OR an honorarium.
