DESCRIPTION:As interpreters\, we advocate on a regular bases for the deaf. In this workshop\, we will be discussing the role we have and the difference between enabling cyclical codependency and empowering the deaf to achieve maximum success. \nWe will use ethics to define our role as an interpreter. We will use real life scenarios interpreters face and discuss the different options and ethical choices we have that will impact the deaf consumer\, as well as our mental\, physical and relational health.
